Love Yourself: Tear

This album draws from the deep, introspective theme of self-acceptance and love. Inspired by life's complexities, I've used wood relief printmaking to convey its organic, imperfect nature. The crow symbolizes eerie anticipation of rebirth, while the Yellow Carnation represents bitterness and the start of the self-love journey. The twisted Daffodil signals new beginnings, capturing the pre-bloom phase of transformation.

Motion Preview

Using stop motion, I tried to create an intentionally rough and irregular animation loop depicting the second crow's emergence. Working at 10 frames per second and investing several hours to Procreate, this album came to life. In addition, I've included a preview of one of my favorite songs from the album, which provides more insight into my creative process.
